Jeremy’s Game Hall of Fame
THE INAUGURAL CLASS OF THE HALL OF FAME

Jay Croop – Columbus River Dragons has participated in every Jeremy’s Game since his days with the Richmond Generals Junior Team. Jay is also a previous recipient of the Jeremy Bannon Award. Jay represented the USA in the Australian Hockey Tournament. Jay recently received national attention by skating on Canal Street in New Orleans during an ice and snow storm.

Berke Bates– played in Jeremy’s Game in June 2017 and then on August 12, 2017, Virginia State Trooper-Pilot Bates made the ultimate sacrifice when he was killed in the line of duty protecting the citizens of Virginia. Since his passing, each year, Jeremy’s Game is proud to award the Berke Bates Memorial Award for Valor to a member of law enforcement.

Steven Bobys – Has participated as a coach for every Jeremy’s Game. A dear childhood friend of Jeremy Bannon. Steven was a coach of multiple championship hockey teams at Churchill High School in Montgomery County, Maryland. Steven is a previous recipient of the Jeremy Bannon Award.

Daniel Giorgi – A great fan of Jeremy’s Game and a fine hockey player. Daniel went to be home with the Lord on November 7, 2020. Daniel played and referred hockey for many years, including playing on a team with his Dad.

Ben Lipchak – One of the first volunteers and organizers of Jeremy’s Game and the Hockey Fights Hunger campaign. Ben has played in every one of Jeremy’s Games and is a past recipient of the Jeremy Bannon Award.
